Question Adding casters to slide for support? - Melbourne 24K

I am taking on the task of removing the dinette and adding the dual reclining sofa w/center console feature. After taking the first section out I looked under and noticed there appears to be nothing to support the slide, other than the rails anyway. I am not the tiniest of man and with the added weight of the couch just not sure how well the slide will support it all. Casters seemed like a good idea but then I wonder why this wouldn't already be standard due to the "hanging slide". Maybe this would cause other issues I haven't thought about. Any ideas out there?

Thanks

I didn't realize there is that big of a gap. I don't know how the slides would handle up and down movement as the caster rolls over uneven floor or objects on the floor. Someone at Swintek should be able to answer your question.

What holds the ends on the bench? There is a button or plug at the top that I imagine pops out exposing a screw but I am not sure. Are there nails or staples that hold it on?

Support rollers are right at the wall.
