Adjusting The Hot Water Heater Facade Panel

On my on-demand heater, the panel that surrounds it is (see sketch) 1) front cocked out over-hanging the generator panel (by maybe 1/4-3/8") -Basically reverse from how all the other panels are, where the trailing edge of the forward one over-hangs in-front of the next one like a shingle. 2) not seated well into the rear-end cap causing a 1/8-1/4" gap at the very bottom decreasing as it gets closer to the top

Has anyone ever adjusted this panel, if so, how do you get to the top-portion? I'm worried that if I let this go, it could cause issues with the rear cap.

It's hard to tell in the pic because of the shadow, but on the right side at the bottom, it's got about 1/4-3/8" gap from the end cap. I am nearly positive the cap is good and the panel just needs to slide towards the rear and have the front bottom pulled in a bit.

If the cover was removed, there must be some way to straighten it in the mounting hole.
