Automatic Generator Start (AGS)

The owner's manual for our 2014 Greyhawk mentions an Automatic Generator Start (if so equipped). If I see no indication of this feature on any control panels, I take it that our particular Greyhawk does not have it.

It would be as a part of the manual start switch. The manual start would be on the left a clock in the center and a programming switch on the right (about 2" high by 3" wide).

Depends on your setup. In our 2015 Seneca 37TS we have the Onan Energy Command 20 and Energy Command 30 system. See: http://power.cummins.com/onanpowerWe....do?pageId=613 to see if you have either of these. These are TYPICALLY "generator specific".

Xantrex and magnum energy both have AGS. You may be able to add stand alone AGS to the unit. It replaces or augments the generator control panel. They use "state of charge" SOC or battery voltage. The unit will signal the generator to start and run either until a specific SOC is reached or a certain time has elapsed.
