Awning LED light problems

Has anyone had issues with the awning LED not working on there Seneca. I just purchased a 2017 several month back and the awning lights came on and then went off and have not worked since. The Dealer is 3 hours away and I would rather resolve the problem myself then have to drive to and deal with a dealer.
Any ideas on what to look for?

Our 2014 shorted out from poor design right at the side of the coach (outside) you may look for a loose or broken wire in that area.

I had sections of the LED string stop working on my 2015 Greyhawk awning, just after I bought it. I found an authorized JAYCO trailer dealer, not the one I bought from, but one nearer my home and they replaced it under warranty. It is just self adhesive strip lighting, but I wanted it replaced under warranty action just in case it keeps failing, then there will be a record of it. As a side note for warranty action, be advised that some dealers will charge a "one time" system administration fee, if you didn't buy from them. What they wanted to charge me was outrageous. If this happens contact JAYCO directly and the "fee" could "majically disappear. After all it is warranty work covered by the manufacturer, regardless of the dealership. Cheers.
