How much wider than the slide out should an awning be? I have researched all about installing them, and would feel comfortable doing it myself. Looking at the Carefree brand.
Don't know of a minimum but the ones the dealer just installed on my trailer are about 4" wider than the slide on each side. I'm guessing and haven't measured. On the road working otherwise I'd go look.
