Bathroom toilet sink

My Redhawk's bathroom sink's drain can't be raised and lowered, like a home's sink. We have to pull it out to let water drain-is that how they are set up? New to RV'ng and new to the Redhawk.
thanks

I'm assuming you mean the stopper that goes into the drain hole? It's a stupid design, that's for sure. We leave the stopper in the cabinet just in case we need it. We have mesh sink strainers installed on every sink .

These.

Ours in our Greyhawk is also a stopper you have to remove. I will have to look into the mesh sink strainers, didn't think of that.

ditto on our JayFlight. I don't get it, but we also use those exact same mesh strainers.

So I guess Jayco does this for many of their MH's.
I think we'll get us some strainers for the sinks, too.
