Question battery switch beeps

We recently bought a used 2005 Grayhawk. The battery switch beeps when driving. Should I turn it off? What is it signaling?

I am not sure what you mean by battery switch beeping. Our only battery switch in our Greyhawk is the battery disconnect by the entry door, and it does not have any type of beeper alarm. Now in that same area of the house are several alarms that do have beepers, e.g. CO/LP detector, Bigfoot leveler control and the inverter. Could one of those be beeping?

The fridge will beep if you did not switch it to LP.

It is probably the inverter switch. The beeping stops when I switch it off.

I think that means your house battery charge is low or something is trying to draw more amps than the inverter can supply.

What voltage is being displayed in the inverter readout?

Hennigan

Do you know why and do you turn it off when traveling?

Heck the doggone inverter panel on our *new* Greyhawk loves to beep and throw E05 at random times.

Annoying.

If you house battery is not fully charged, the propane alarm will signal an occasional beep. Try putting a battery charger on the house battery. Does the beep stop when connected to shore power?
