Washed the GH 31ss today, and noticed the caulking/sealant around the recessed clearance lights on the front cap has abandoned ship in spots. What type of "stuff" is recommended to seal the gaps back up?

Personally I prefer Geocel Proflex RV sealant. It comes in various colors. I don't like buying a big tube of the stuff for a tiny repair but it's a small price to pay for a good repair. Not worth cutting corners on something like a leak. I wouldn't recommend using any kind of household silicone.
X2 on the Geocel Proflex. I use it on everything except the roof. Comes in a few whites, clears, almond and black. Used it for years and it works very well.
