Blown Tires

I have a 2005 Jayco Escapade 28. I have blown all 4 dual tires over the last 2 years, 2 in the last few weeks. I trying to determine if things are just coming loose and gauging the tires or the tires just blow after so long. It's got me pretty paranoid. Any suggestions?

They should be replaced every 5 -7 years. Especially if it sits more than moves.

What brand of tires were they? Towmax? (Also known as "Blowmax" because of the issues many have had)

Kenny - it's not like the tires on a car. The weight puts more stress on tires. They may need to be replaced long before the tread has worn off. Everyone plans on new tires in the 5, 7, or 8 year time frame. If those tires are older than that, then it's not unusual to have them fail.

So the first question back to you is: how old were they?

On my class A I had to replace tires at 5 years. Thread looked great but the sidewalls were getting some serious cracking.
