brake buddy vantage select lost remote

we seemed to have misplaced our remote will the brake buddy still work without the remote. I will get one as soon as possible but need to get back it is a brakebuddy vantage select

I have the classic, not the vantage select, but I think yes, it will still work. Wow, $250 to replace that? Ugh.
