cable tv input

I have a 2015 Greyhawk DS31. Where do you plug in the cable tv input to the outside of the coach? The owners manual is very clear about this - nada!! It references something about turning off the amplifier but I cant find that either.

On my 2017 Greyhawk fs31, I was surprised to find it in the box where the 30 amp cord wraps up.

I too have a connection in the same location but when I hook up the cable tv input, I have nothing inside the coach. Is there anything inside I am supposed to be changing?

The box on the wall where the cable hooks to your tv has a push button switch and light on it. When using cable, the light (and amplifier) must be turned off.

Near where the electronics are kept, there is an input box about the same size as an electrical faceplate in your home. Look on that input and you will see a small black button. Push that button and you will see it retracts and extends. For cable, you want the button out.( I think I'm right on this) You want it in for over the air reception. Then you go to menu/setting on the tv and switch to cable.

Thank you all for the replies. I am going to go to the dealer tomorrow to find this. My coach has the tv in the mounted in the cap. There are several connections behind it but nothing as yall have described. Since it it pretty well inaccessible to get back behind this tv, it has got to be somewhere else I haven't found.

I had your same coach.

The amplifier is on the wall behind the TV in the front cap. When the amplifier is on you will see a small green light. When it is off, you won't. It is a small button on a dark colored wall plate similar to a light switch, but the button pushes in and out.

My son had the job of rotating the TV out and making sure that switch was on or off as needed when we were camping. You have to get up in the upper bunk to reach the switch.

I had your same issue the first time I tried to use cable instead of the antennae.

Help getting antenna to work!?!

I have a 2016 Redhawk 26XD. I had no problem with cable etc, But I was unable to get the TV to work on antenna. The OM even shows the old type antenna that you raise and lower. And there is no directions on hook-up antenna. Can any one walk me thru set up? Thanks

You have to turn amplifier behind the tv on and switch setting on television from cable to air or antenna

Exactly.

In mine the amp is behind the TV. RG6 coax cable coming out and into the Antenna jack on the TV. There's a small button. Off and the green LED is off. Off for cable, on for Over The Air.

Pull up Menu on TV, go to Channels, switch from Cable to Air, then do a Channel Scan.

My booster is hidden in a cabinet over the door. Look for it inside a cabinet somewhere near the front tv. Also, my prayers upside cable connection is in the power cord bin. Again, hidden up near the top of the bin
