Can you see inside your Seneca from the outside?

We have taken several trips with our 2015 Seneca without using the outside tv system. On our last trip we did use, and it worked just fine. Only problem is we can see inside sink cabinet from behind the tv! No wall, no insulation, no nothing! Does anyone have this problem? I did place insulation in the space for a quick fix.

So they didn't use a standard TV box? That's not good at all.

I have a '14 TS and mine is closed up by a sheet of paneling. Behind that is the back of the love seat. But you are correct, no insulation!

I did remove the TV to space out the top to provide a better viewing angle. It is much better after my modification. I also discovered Jayco had failed provide a cable allowing TV audio to be input to the stereo so over-the-air TV audio plays from the larger speakers. I had a cable and it took only minutes to hook it up. It probably was supposed to be there and they just "forgot".

It's a pity Jayco doesn't allow changes. I have no use for the outside TV and would liked to have it deleted.

Do you receive both off air and satellite on your outside tv? I only get off air. I receive both on the inside tv's. Thanks, Sam

I'm sorry, I can't say. While I have the in-motion dish, I don't have a subscription (yet).

I could try navigating to the dish just to see if I get setup screens and such, and then see if it carries over to the outside unit. Will re-post after I see what I come up with this weekend. And maybe someone with working satellite will let us know in the meantime.

Looks like that is the standard install I have an HJ and behind the TV is open to the kitchen plumbing.

By "off-air" do you mean with a DVD player?

We have a 2015 Seneca RB and am watching the outside TV as I type this reply. I cannot see the inside of my RV from the outside. It appears there is a hard plastic black wall separating the TV from the kitchen dink behind it.

I don't understand why some are different.
