Change your filter!!

I was just doing some general maintenance and was so grossed out, I had to share. This filter was installed about 2 months ago. Our family of four has about 14 nights of camping on it. After our stay in Buffalo, I noticed our water pressure wasn't what it used to be. Well... this explains a few things. For reference, the filter began life as white as the end pieces...

... and that's why filters are an excellent idea!

We use two in series: First one gets the grit and the second gets finer stuff and the chlorine.

We have a two stage filter system coming as well. Sediment filter to a charcoal filter then to my softener. The water filters take a beating here.

I am probably over kill, but I use three filters. A Camco in line at the faucet, the factory filter in the water compartment and a third in the water compartment that I installed with a premium filter. I change all filter about every six months. Just want to be safe.
