Check the strapping on your waste tank dump

I haven't even been camping yet,2 dance competition that's it..anyway I backed my RedHawk 26xd into a driveway to turn around and I hear a dragging sound I think it's ok just the bumper(NOT)..long story short I see water dripping out of the waste valve I'm like what the hell..seams like the strap that holds it up is doing nothing..it damaged both gate valves and broke the y pipe..no one sells the 3x3 y pipe with the valves only thing I can find is a 3" waste by 1 1/2 gray water dump valve do you think a 1 1/2 is ok or find the 3x3 it's put together really cheaply...I'm going to send pictures to jayco to see if they will do anything..just really sucks..

Whoa! Sorry to hear that. Is the dealer close by? That's where I'd head. Assuming it's new, may need to tape it up to get it to the dealer but that's where I'd start. If not new, go the Jayco route as you mentioned. Good luck.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

I think you will be fine with a smaller grey water pipe since you should only have liquid coming out of the grey pipe. The black water is the one you definatly would want to be larger so the solids can flush right out.

Thanks, but I ordered 2 new 3" valves I'm going to put it together with 3" abs pipe..the y pipe where everything comes together is a very weak link imo..only a small lip holds it together..with my new one everything will be glued together..
