Checking House Battery 31 SS

You would think they could of given you another foot of wire so when you slide of house battery you do not have to take cables off to check the water?

Ours are barely long enough and the sliding battery setup is goofy.

One would think if its on a sliding drawer it would come out enough to check the battery, mine is so tight if I pull too hard I will pull the wires out of the crimp connectors. So I will put on my list of things for improvement.

I did reroute the cables on our house battery so the tray pulled out a bit farther. However the inner three cells of the house battery were still impossible to check.

That battery now has a Quik-Fill watering system on it. Installation was pretty easy. It's been on there only one month so it is too soon to tell how well it works long term.

I installed the Quik-Fill system on my battery yesterday. Installation was not difficult and it makes checking the battery level a snap. Thanks for the info on it.
