Coach battery storage

When placing my unit in storage, which is outside storage, at the end of the traveling season would it be wise to remove my coach battery and place it in my nice warm basement with a battery maintainer hooked up? We live in central Illinois and it does get pretty cold in the winter.
I do this with my boat batteries so it seems logical to do the same with the MH one. I don,t plan to disconnect the chassis battery, as I read in the owners manual that the engine computer would have to re-program itself.

Sounds reasonable - I have left my batteries in the MH over winter - did not disconnect the chassis battery for the same reason as you said "computer would have to re-program itself". I do make sure the coach battery has a full charge and disconnect the Negative leads. So far it comes out of storage with no problems.

I do the same with my boat batteries - in the basement.

I pull the house battery and truck battery evert winter. Never had an issue with the computer reprograming. Just dont store your battery on a cement floor.

I'm not sure that Jayco knows what's going on with Ford EFI these days. Long term storage may result in:
1) Lost trouble codes related to the motor. These are faults that clear, but are "saved" in the computer.
2) EFI may have long term fuel trims. If you lose these, it's no big deal - motors self tune dynamically and you won't notice a difference.
