Compass extended warranty?

We just bought our new 2016 jayco RedHawk 26xd today,and the dealer hit us up with a extended warranty?morst of the time they are a complete waste of money..I didn't sign up but what do you guys and girls think about them..6 years $2,700..the company was compass..thanks

Probably a waste of money... wait till the Jayco warranty is almost up, then decide.

We had the Good Sam warranty on our old camper, paid on it for 8 years, and never had to use it.

It was about 50.00 a month... We could have put that $ 4,800.00 in a savings account, and it would have been there if we needed it.

Oh well, live and learn!

Picking up my new Redhawk 26X1 this coming week. Dealer offered extended warranty for $4,778 for 7 years/75k miles; kicks in after Jayco warranty expires. Taking The Logans' advice and passing on the ext warranty.

Compass is $2k less but I think I'd still pass.
