Converter on the Seneca question

I have a 2014 Seneca. Is the converter a 3 stage unit that can be used for trickle charging the house batteries during storage? I don't want to over charge them when in storage.

I also have a 2014 and indeed the converter has a 3-stage battery charger built in. It should have a small green led indicator located in the lower part of the breakers/fuses area, visible through a small opening, that tells you what the charger is "doing" for the batteries at any specific time. Next to the led is also a small push button that can be used to toggle the charger through the various charge modes. The functioning of the modes is automatic, the button is just there to "force" a mode change for diagnostic purposes.

I tried to attach the converter's owner's manual, but it is just a little too large to attach to a forum response. I will check and see if it is in the "Manuals" section, if not I will try to upload it and send a reply that it is there.

I did upload the manual but it appears that a moderator must review and approve it for posting.

The quick answer is that you should have a converter/charger that is safe for long-term battery maintenance. But regardless, I would advise you to check the water level regularly to ensure you are not overcharging them.

They did approve and post the owner's guide for the converter in the "Manuals" section (top tab) in case you have not checked back.

By the way PD calls them "4-way" chargers these days incorporating these modes: Boost, Normal, Storage, Equalization. I checked with Progressive Dynamics and our Senecas do all of these modes.
