One thing that I have found that works over the years is to short lengths of construction adhesive, caulking, adhesive again, and caulking again. One or the other always seems to hold. My "engineer" friend said that the caulking helps as a "flex material" that will help strengthen the bond when the construction adhesive is "too brittle" and will crack with vibration. Physics isn't my specialty but fixing things, I can do. For interiors I use bath/window caulking as it is designed for indoor use.

So i decided to drill it out with a 13/64 drill bit and installed #10 machine screws with nuts and lock washers. Its very solid now and you cant see them when the table is up.🍻

I think we all knew there were going to be quality issues. Most of mine have been annoyances that I can deal with and not trip stoppers. I am 2 1/2 weeks into a 3 month trip and I am finding my share of "what the heck they thinking" items, the dinette table being the latest. But I knew I would have issues and tried to prepare as best I could. That doesn't make it any less frustrating. We paid a lot of money for these RVs and we shouldn't have to deal with these stupid issues.

So yes, these RVs are the biggest POS's out there, except for all the others.

And yes I know my attitude will turn south in a hurry the very next time an issue presents. But for today, I love my new Seneca.

Nice work! I just checked my table and the bolts would be hidden as well. Also, with the strength of the composite table material the Seneca uses, this approach should definitely do the trick. Thanks for posting your solution.
