Electric Stairs Magnet

Anyone have a idea where to purchase the magnet for the reed switch, my was attached to screen door with double sided tape, I guess the dog must of knocked it off. For some reason I happened to have a magnet about the size of a quarter in my tool box and attached that to screen with eternabond tape it worked till I got home, just need something much smaller this one was square. You would of thought they would attached it better than tape.

Magnet

The window sensor on many alarm systems have something that looks very similar - I don't know if it will work but maybe - if it does let us know because we may have the same problem someday

I had to replace an odd-size magnet for a security system. I found that eBay had about every size and shape imaginable.
