Question Electrical problem, Radio - 2012 31FS

After 500 miles of shake down runs, i have developed an annoying issue with the radio.

Occasionally when accelorating or turning, and almost everytime I hit a larger bump, the sound cuts out from the radio to all speakers. (from any source, radio/cd/ipod) After a second, sometimes 2 or 3, it resumes. Also, if i hop into the drivers seat and sit down hard it will also do this at times. I am heavy but not that danged heavy!!

The Clarion radio does not loose power or black out at the same time I loose sound. The touchscreen does not flicker or go black.

I am assuming this is a grounding issue on the sound outpout side, maybe with an amplifyier (if one is installed). I checked the grounding block behind the house battery and tightened (it was a bit loose). I also checked the house batteries, which were all tight.

Any ideas for other connections to check before I take it in?

Update on this issue. Jayco sent me the wiring diagram for the speaker system. Behind the drivers side door well liner is where all the wires pass and a speaker module is located. After pulling the panel I found two wires trapped under the seat frame. Thus the reason for me plopping my behind in the seat and causing the speakers to cut out.

Now to pull the seat and fix this.

I already know what the wife has told you about this incident....

If you cant easily pull the cables out of the way just cut them and splice in a new section of wire using crimp connectors so you can route around the seat. Radio Shack will have everything you need to extend the wiring...
