Emptying fresh water tank, using city water

HelliHello, everyone. I have a 1984 jayco class c rv. I'll be living in it for a couple months while my house is being finished. It gets pretty cold here in Oklahoma and I want to make sure I have everything winterizing, while still functional. I built skirting all the way around so underneath is pretty air tight.
My question is about the fresh water/city water tanks. I'm hooked up to the water supply and the hose is wrapped with heat tape. I don't need the freshfresh water and I want to make sure it's empty so it doesn't freeze. Is there a valve somewhere so I can pump out the fresh water and just use the 'city' water or does the fresh water tank fill up even when I'm using the city water?

The fresh water tank will not fill up using the city water connection. The fresh water tank should have a drain. Once empty and the drain valve closed, you mighy put a little RV antifreeze in the fresh water tank.

The FW tank will have a drain valve on it somewhere beneath your vehicle.
It is a gravity feed. Just open the fill hole so air can get in (in case your vent is clogged) and then open the drain.

Even if a little bit of water is left in the bottom of the tank and freezes, it will do no harm.
