Entry door latch plate

Is it common to have 2 door latch plates? Have a lot of trouble with door sticking and very hard to open and close. 2017 Grayhawk.

2017 jayko 29MV Yes our main Door also had hard time closing. after looking very close the main screws holding the door ( the hard to get to ones! ) were loose causing the door to not close straight. I lifted up on bottom to see the flex then noticed the bottom , inside screw was loose. Plus our units have alot of flex, so being true level will help for all doors and cabinets hope it helps Ted

Door Latch

Just went through the thing. Door not loose latch screws seem not in far enough. Snugged all screws and aligned latch, helped a lot but still not right.

Had this same issue, unfortunately I don't know what the fix was,, as the dealer did the work. Had my rig in for water heater issues so asked them to look at door. Door was hard to close, had to operate latch to close it. Going back to dealer in 2 weeks or so for parts that were ordered, I can ask them what they did to fix door!! It works great now, u can actually push / pull door shut with little effort.

Just found door open/close gas shock on bottom of door backed out to last thread. Adjusted cylinder, now tight and door realigned, works good.
