Escapade Ceiling

I'm in process of repairing the remnants of an old roof leak. As I peeled off the contact paper a layer of the wood it was connected to crumbled off. The wood above that is solid, so I just need to replace that thin layer. Anyone know where I can find that wood? Also, what is used on the ceiling, is it actually contact paper?

I appreciate your help.

I'm thinking that perhaps it's luan, which is a very thin plywood type material. What would really help with your thread is a picture. Some Escapade owners might chime in and give you some more help. If it's luan, a specialty wood or plywood type shop would have it.

You can purchase Luan at Home Depot or Lowes in 4x8 sheets for about $10 each

ceiling attached

Update: I have found a matching ceiling panel and have repaired what I need I repair. When I go to replace the parts of the ceiling I need to replace, I will put the styrofoam in the gaps and the ceiling panel attached to that. What is used to attach the panel to the styrofoam and the styrofoam to the top of the RV?

I appreciate everyones help and my wife and I are having fun doing our renovations.

Hopefully someone comes thru with the exact adhesive. If not, I'd pick an adhesive that solves for the styrofoam first. The wood will be much more forgiving and tolerant of a wider range of glues.

Maybe take a peek here:

Just asking - are you counting on the adhesive to hold the luan panels up? Or will you be able to screw them into the ceiling 'rafters'? Hopefully you will be able to use screws.
