Exhaust Brake on the M2 Chassis

On my 2014 Seneca the exhaust brake switch on the dash does not light up when switch to the on position. Is there something else that needs to happen before the exhaust brake is engaged?

Mine lights up and then the exhaust brake works. Maybe you have a blown fuse or bad switch?

Not sure. I would check the owners manual for fuse locations.

If I am seeing your picture correctly that is "off" on my Seneca. When toggled "up" on mine it lights up and works well.

Unsure of fuse location too, since we have a multiplexed electrical system and the EB is a "smart" switch it may be something Freightliner needs to diagnose.

Agree with Robbbyr on this one.

Never paid any attention which position is on. I just look to see if the light is on. It's very evident when driving if the exhaust brake is working.
