Exterior Trim Shrinking

Anyone experience this? It is as if the trim is shrinking. (Sorry about the side pictures, not sure why that happens, they look great on my Mac.)

The rubber material will shrink some with changes in weather. I'm not sure what the short term solution is, especially on the painted rigs now days.

Looks like I may have to pull the whole strip and repaint to match if I want to go that far. Frustrating.

Thanks!

Yea, I have that. My trim is a black color so I cleaned the area up, then used a product called ProFlex RV to fill the void so water does not infiltrate. The shrinkage is at the top so not very noticeable.
