With great trepidation I made the call to Ford warranty/roadside assistance. If you can't tell, I really don't like calling customer service for anything due to all the horror stories of awful customer service (with some of my own bad experiences). Fortunately the experience I had with their customer service was very good (1-800-444-3311).
Just be aware that the first time you call them you'll have to provide a boatload of information. All the usual personal information plus the VIN of your MH.
I called them to get pointed to a local dealer that could handle a couple of warranty problems. I had an oil light (no oil pressure indicated either) and a surging problem under medium to heavy acceleration. Surging problem has existed since I bought the MH and the oil problem just showed up 300 miles ago. I've got 10000 miles on the rig. The oil light is just the sender as the engine would have been toast before I noticed the light. The oil pressure gauge is not true oil pressure but simply a mid range indication tied to the light. Gauge either reads midrange or not at all.
At any rate, their customer service is very good as they called me back within the hour and had already touched base with a local dealer to ensure they could do the work. I just had to call the dealer and make an appointment. So hopefully this is a good indication of the kind of service that Ford will provide should I have further problems down the road.
