Greyhawk 31DS door squeakes

Has anyone had a problem with the house door making loud squeaking noises ? It's weird because the noise has a delayed start. No noise for the first several miles. Then it starts to sound like two chipmunks fighting.

I've sprayed all around the door on my rig to find the culprit. It would quit for a while and I thought I had it only for it start up again a hundred miles later. It was a real annoyance! Currently the squeak is gone.

A couple of times I've gone back to investigate while the wife is driving and couldn't really come to any conclusions. Pushing on the door here and there wouldn't shut it up. I also tried other items in the vicinity with no luck.

Spray lube around the door at ALL the hinges and I mean all including the screen door hinges. Also get the screen and door latches. One of those is the culprit, just not sure which one. I've used a couple of different kind of lubes to include silicon and teflon sprays. Good luck in your quest as it is super annoying.

We have an "occasional" squeak in our door on our GH31ss, but IIRC, it was the screen door squeaking in the frame/jamb, put some weather stripping in spots and stopped it for the most part, but remember you've got a house on wheels, it's gonna make noise.

I have noticed the "Squeak" on our 31DS door. Not sure what the best course of action is. Just to spray down everything. If so which lubricant works the best?

WE have the same issue with door noise.
White lube on lock contacts points. Spray
around door frame with silicone lube.
We also found the gas door shock was rubbing
door sill. Ended up polishing off paint to give a little
more clearance.
Make sure all the hardware is tight.

Just remember WD-40 isn't really a lubricant. It's a good way to test to see if something will quiet the squeak.

You can get white lithium grease in a spray can, but I'd be tempted to try "graphite" that we used to use to lubricate locksets.
