Hellwig Helper Springs

After reading forums I see my Hellwig helper springs on this 09 were never adjusted correctly. I have 5 inches of space from the shackle to helper spring. Its been that way since day one previous two owners never noticed

I have Helwigs too, with more than 2" of space. Tech told me that they are adjustable according to rear sag, and not necessary to 'max out' the adjustment to 2", unless required to level out.

My back end is somewhat higher and rides just fine with the more than 2" setting.
