How to keep motor home drawers closed while traveling?
My Redhawk's drawers below the wardrobe won't stay closed while going down the road. Besides tying them down, any suggestions? Thinking of installing individual recessed drawer locks but hoping someone else has another idea. Kind of nervous drilling into the drawers-what if I don't get the locks perfectly fitted. Anyway, appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

If it's still under warranty, I would let your dealer look at it first. I had the same problem and my dealer fixed it by adjusting (lining up) the latch.

I installed childproof clips on each of the two big drawers in question and both broke the clips broke. The pots and pans were tooooooo much weight. The last few times we laid down the wooden bar stool between the drawers and the media center with a pillow between the stool and the drawers. This is a short term solution.. will be working on this one next

On my Fleetwood 31M, I installed 1/4" eyescrews into the sides of the drawers and into the faceframe aligning them above each other when the drawers were closed. Then I cut 4" long pieces from a metal coat hanger and bending them into a U, and inserting one leg through the eyescrews. Never had a drawer unintentially open from then on.

We used a thin magnetic catch to repair a warped drawer in our kitchen. It uses a rare earth magnet which is super strong and really holds things closed.
It would be an excellent solution to your problem. Here is the link tot he product.. http://www.leevalley.com/en/hardware...=3,41399,41403

My GreyHawk has this style installed:

If yours has these, they are out of adjustment, if you dont have them, install them. I find they work almost too well at keeping the doors and drawers closed.

Our Greyhawk came with the latches out of adjustment. I adjusted them myself to ensure they stay closed. OP if you send photos I will try to look at them and make some suggestions on how to adjust them. You also can take it to the dealer and they should be able to adjust the latches. They should stay closed and you should not have to use aftermarket additions.

Thank you for your kind suggestions.
I guess the catch are supposed to be strong enough to hold drawers so I will try adjusting them first. Am having a hard time figuring out how to release the drawer slides to pull drawer out(catch are underneath). Any suggestions on how to release the drawer slides?
I have a Redhawk 26xs, 2013.

My Redhawk 26XS drawers stay closed. I have to lift and pull to open them. Take it back to the dealer.
