2006 jayco ford E450. Last time tire air was checked or tires rotated, fancy hubcap replaced so I cannot access air fill line. Of course, this particular tire now low. My hubby says I need a special wrench. I think I just need strong leverage and the pointy end of the long iron thing. (i swear I used to know the names....the older I get....). Please advise.
I believe these are plastic. I don't have picture, but they have what looks like 8 or 10 real lug nuts on them, but they are not scratched, so I know they have never been removed. When I tried to move them, does appear to be clips on them that attach to wheel.
They should pull straight off. Takes a little muscle but they should come off. They're spring loaded caps. They should be held on by a thick wire around the diameter of the back of the cover.

My rim covers are metal. I bought a trim removal tool which has a curved end which helps in prying off the covers. I gently pound them back in place with a rubber mallet.
My wheel covers are metal. I remove using a small pry bar, about the size of a big screw driver (which also may work). Not easy to pry them off.
Reinstall carefully allowing for access to valves, and then beat the hell out of them with a big rubber mallet!
They can be left off if you have a tire issue.

I have a 2005 Grayhawk. If it's anything like mine, if you look at the hubcap lugnuts, 2 have a slight indent on the side. These 2 need to come off using tire iron. The rest are fake. (Mine came with a special tool just for these. I'll see if I can find a picture).
