Incorrectly installed heat shield in fresh water tank in Jayco Greyhawk and Redhawk

Certain Greyhawk and Redhawk motorhomes have the heat shield installed incorrectly causing the freshwater tank to bow upward and eventually fail. If you have the "UltraHeat" pads This problem can cause an electrical fire as some of the units the heat shield is cutting into the heat pad causing a hot spot. Please see photos for more information. Please note the first attempt at repair was not successful as it was to install some rubber in between the tank and the shield. All that happened was the rubber was cut through. The metal heat shield must be removed and or the tank replaced.
