Before you purchase a 1500 watt inverter, do you have enough battery Ah to support it? Nothing worse than putting all that money into something that will run down your battery in an hour or two and you have to shut it down. Do you really need a 1500 watt inverter, when a 600 watt inverter may do the trick. If you are worried about the initial start up surge, most inverters have a buffer built in of 1.5 to 2 times their advertised wattage.
What are you planning on running off the inverter?
