Good Question? Jayco's website has an "Archive" section, but only goes back to 2003. I will do some more searching for you.

Somewhere around here I have the 2000-model brochure. We have a 2730W and LOVE it! I'll post the numbers as soon as I find 'em.

OK, found it. According to the brochure, here are your capacities:

Fresh Water: 41 gal.
Gray Water: 40 gal.
Black Water: 37 gal.

If you'd like, I can scan each of the pages and send the brochure your way. For whatever reason, though, Grandma (our rig was hers before she retired from RVing) cut half of the front cover off. But the rest of it's there.

It'll be my pleasure to do so, but in advance, here are some basic specs from it:

Designer 2830G (specs also apply to Eagle 283G if anyone has one of those):

Exterior Length: 28'7"
Exterior Height: 136" (11'4", incl. roof air conditioner)
GVWR: 14,050 lbs.
Furnace BTUs: 31,000
Alternator: 130 amps
Fuel Tank: 55 gallons
Tire Size: LT225/75R16
Engine: 6.8L V-10
Wheelbase: 185"

The brochure I have gives you all the floorplan layouts, as well as pictures of the available interior color schemes and two-tone paint options, a couple of which you'll have to see in the pictures to believe. For the record, I'm eternally grateful that ours did NOT come with the Light Polar Green or Orchid options!!!

I'll get it all scanned and posted this afternoon.

OK, so I couldn't get the whole thing to upload in one message, so try this and see if it works for you. I put them on my Flickr account:

Grandma did a good job picking out this one when she bought it; ours has the Champagne two-tone and the Riverdance Chocolate interior trim. Really a tasteful combination.

After looking at your floorplan, I wish our rig was a 2830, if only because of the better bathroom layout. The one complaint I have with our 2730 is the cramped quarters in the bath. Everything else is great.

Hope you enjoy the rig!!!

Sounds like yours was as babied as ours! We're heading out for our first weekend trip of the year this afternoon. Really looking forward to it!

It was my pleasure to help -- if I can do anything more, please let me know. I'm still learning the ropes with it, but I've managed to teach myself quite a bit!

Thats good you have a great weekend and I am sure you will, I cant say enough about mine. Did you you do anything to the suspension, I put a set of airbags front and rear and what a defference it made also put 4 Bilsten shocks it took the rocking from side to side completely away. Let us know how was you weekend have fun.

Everything is still original on ours, although I want to do some upgrades. I've heard a lot of good things about Bilsteins, and that's where I intend to start ... when I get to that.

As far as getting down the road, though, it's not terrible. Of course, it's never going to be a cornering machine, but on an interstate, it does great.

My biggest concern after this weekend is getting something installed to stabilize it while we're set up and living in it. My oldest daughter flops around a lot when she sleeps, and EVERYONE felt it this time. So that's my #1 priority before our next trip ... which is in 2 weeks. Not much time to investigate my options, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

Aside from that, though, I still love it.

I put 2 crank down jack behind the rear wheel they are rated for 7000lbs. and that took most of it away this was the only cheap way to go other than the hydraulic jack $4000.00 is to much for me. I think I paid $70.00 for both of them at www.etrailer.com

I've got a couple of old scissor jacks here that I'll try next weekend when we go out again. I put 'em under the back here in the driveway and my wife seems to think they made a difference, as do I. We'll just have to see what happens when we actually get the whole crew inside.

I agree the hydraulic jacks are too spendy ... lowest estimate I got was around $3500. Too rich for my blood!!!
