Jayco Gas Fill Location

I have a 2009 Greyhawk 31SS you would think Jayco would of put the gas fill on the side instead of the back, you have to take up a whole bay just to fill the coach. I have been tempted to put a tee in fill tube and install a gas door on the side.

Just wondering if the tank is also mounted in the rear. That could be for weight distribution. Filler at back would optimize side storage bays. Perhaps the result of trade-offs made?

I totally agree. The one thing I absolutely hate about our Grayhawk. Makes gassing up one huge pain in the butt.
