Moving on up
Just signed up for 2015 Seneca 37 rb, we used to run a 2010 Itasca Cambria but with retirement looming in the near future a bigger rig was required. So far unit looked good on the pre inspection with a few small details to be rectified, but saw a small water mark running down the center of the dash on pass side with no evidence of water coming from above by the windshield , do these units have possible water intrusion problems? or some one has spilled something while in transit from factory. We will pick it up in two weeks then a week later off to the Rockies for a week of off the grid camping and atving. Am looking forward to the advise, help and camaraderie that a forum like this brings to the table. And yes the wife is absolutely giddy with all the storage and space that this unit has. gord

New Seneca owners
We took the jump to a 2015 36FK.
We have had it out for one trip - our shake down trip was planned so that we have to climb the mountain pass to see how it would get up the hill.
It has a couple of things the Dealer is going to fix for us, but am happy so far!

Sold our old and fun lived in 1993 29' Cobra Passport class C then upgraded to a very lightly used 2009 Greyhawk 31fs with basically nothing wrong with it minus a few loose and missing screws in the main storage compartment. Have camped ten days in it so far and will have four more by weeks end. This thing is beast and an amazingly upgrade compared to the older unit. With just 9K on the odometer, it drives like its brand new.

2009 Embark
We've owned our rig for about four years. My son and I used it a lot for pulling a race car trailer, spending nights at the track. The M2 chassis has been good, the engine is superb and most things are all right. In Great Plains country, we make about 12mpg if I keep the revs at about 1800. The trailer didn't change that much. Hills and mountains are another story!
The ride over the road is good if you've got some weight on the trailer hitch. If no trailer is on, it's choppy. The missus has worked hard to refine the travel packing of rattly stuff!
Until this spring. The automatic power transfer switch burned up and took a lot of stuff out on the way. We lost the power inverter, the microwave, the satellite TV box, the awning and approximately one-third of the circuit breaker panel power strips. Things are back to normal soon.
We love the motorhome. My wife is now retired, too, and we travel some, spending this summer in Colorado.
Good choice for us!

Camping World (where we bought our 36FK) told us that the two Roof Heat Pumps were recalled. They have a defect that will cause the transfer switch to fail - ours had failed.
Camping World replaced both AC units and the Transfer switch two weeks after we took delivery.
