Just purchased a 2018 Alante 31P. It’s not on the poll list. A few minor bugs but overall DW and I are very pleased. Since it’s our first motor home we have nothing to compair it too except a few tents. Had a few Nubie booboos but what the heck. I’m still learning.

This poll was created in the Jayco Class C Motorhomes forum so we can only assume the OP was only targeting those owners.

But welcome to JOF.

Happy Trails!

2018.5 Seneca. Great driving vehicle lots of issues regarding broken screws and issue with water pump won’t shut off. Maybe a leak or bad valve in the nautilus system. Furnace had a sail switch replaced also. Stinks because dealers want to keep them for a long time for warranty repairs and jayco won’t schedule for a couple months. Returning from latest trip a molding up front by the cab is coming apart. Bet it’s has to do with another broken screw. Cheap screws that get over torqued.

WOW! we have not had anything like that with our 2014. Only thing we had was the flooring tiles looked like they had bubbles in them. Dealer took pictures and Jayco approved replacement. Our purchasing dealer took it right in and we got it back within a month. Only took that long because we purchased 4 hours away from our home and had to wait several days to get free to go pick it up on a weekend. Have you tried Jayco Customer service? My husband is on good terms with them and they have helped to get some recall things taken care of at a Non Jayco dealer that's closer to us. Of course if something isn't covered under warranty you would have to get approval from Jayco then pay up front when work is done and send a copy of the bill to Jayco for reimbursement. We did that with something, I think an issue with the tankless water heater, but had our check back from Jayco within 3/4 weeks. Since these two issues we haven't had any other problems. Hope you get things straightened out with yours and can enjoy it as much as we are ours.

We just moved from a Jay Flight 28BHBE into a Greyhawk 29MV, and we're loving it so far!

We really loved our trailer, but we found the convenience of a MH very attactive for our style of traveling. We're also hoping to be a bit more spontaneous with our travels!

So far, a few adjustments, a few mods, a little decorating, and we're making it "home". Our friends call it our "mansion on wheels". LOL! It's fancy (for us), but not quite "mansion" fancy!

A couple months in on the small dog Redhawk 22J.
My last RV was an old Porsche Boxster. Fill the front and back trunk and passenger seat with camping equipment and supplies and off I went.
Now I can travel with wife and 2 small dogs and get out of the rain.
I just need to get a trailer to but the Boxster on so I can enjoy the back roads.

In 2014, we custom ordered and bought a new 26' RedHawk, then spent a little more and had the suspension totally upgraded. This was the unit we wanted.... large towing/hauling capacity, good floor plan, and would fit in our RV port without a problem. Love it. This is not our first or largest RV but we are enjoying it. We have a 6' 3" teenager that is in high school and needed his own bed area that could handle his tall size. The old class "A" RV with it's couch just didn't do it anymore when he started getting tall. We tried a beautiful, fully loaded, custom ordered, Jayco popup, which ended up being too much work for me to handle. It was used exactly 3 times and then we sold it. After 3 heart surgeries, I'm not in the shape that I use to be in. That, and the other worn out parts I have make camping harder than it should be. We still love it and look forward to each trip we take. For now, the class C RedHawk meets our needs. Enjoy :-)

We just purchased a 2018 redhawk 29xk May 18. We have been out on three short trips and have spent 10 nights camping so far with only a couple small adjustment issues that i have taken care of so far. Love the motorhome camping style after owning toy hauler pull along trailers for last 15+ years and with disablilities makes life sooooooo much easier to just roll out and go camping! Plus we looked for ability to pull a trailer and the larger towing capacity was a big plus. Anxious for long trips soon.

We purchased a 2019 Melbourne 24L in May. Other then driving it home we haven’t used it yet. I’m in the process of changing out the Flooded lead acid battery with a Lithium ion battery and installing a inverter.
We hope to be out on the road in a month.

Jeff, Hopefully by the time I wear these two AGMs out Lithium will have come down in price a bit. All my future mods are geared in that direction. Lets us know how I works out.

Will do. I’m still waiting on parts to start. The lithium ion battery is very expensive but I thought that it’s worth the money. I’m estimating the cost will be around $1800.00. That’s with only one battery. We’re going to do a long trip next year and I don’t want to be totally dependent on shore or generator power.

Great. We just got a 2018 redhawk 31xl. Haven't been out yet. I too have disabilities and traded out north point 5th wheel for the class c.
