Jayco seneca-2007 laminate separating from both back corners from molding

plastic trim is also cracked across the top back where camera and lights are attached. the laminate on either side has pulled away from the molding so it has separated from the back corners on each side. The laminate was not cut long enough so it pulled away from the molding. The molding should have been at least wider but now there is a gap between the laminate siding and wall which allows of course water, mold, and rot. The RV repair said we should dump this RV as quickly as possible, he could fill in the gaps but it would not fix the problem. We keep this RV in perfect shape and use it every weekend. Any ideas, or help?

What are you calling laminate? Also what plastic? The rear cap is fiberglass and all the moulding is the same on 07 and 08 so it is not a width issue since no one else that I know are having problems and I know owners with 06/07 and 08 units.

Where are you located. If you had any water intrusion before the extreme cold temps hit this winter it may have froze, water expands, and caused the seperation.

I would contact JAYCO with pictures and see what they think.

Just remembered OP may have a Toy Hauler which is a different configuration so pics would definitely help. As I originally posted I still have had no one mention that issue on the ZX however.
