Points well taken.
However the Jayco redesign was due to GM pulling out of the market without warning. Every OEM with Super C production has the same issue. GM shut down Janesville Wis production almost over night. Thus a long ramp up to a M2 Seneca.
As retired RV sales guy the "price point" is always the issue, consumers look at aSeneca for bang for buck. Your examples of higher HP and torque are well taken but not at a 100k ++ difference.
The 650/750 uses the same cab as the F250 thru 550. Ford is redesigning Super Duty for 2016 using aluminum in the body for weight reduction. That being said it will be awhile before anyone sees the Ford in a C model RV.
