Jayco warrenty

I am buying a new 2015 Seneca. With the Jayco warranty active for two years is it worth buying any more warranty coverage or a maintenance plan? Thinking of waiting until the two year warranty runs out before buying an extended warranty? Any thoughts?

A three year extended came with my deal as a promotion from Jayco. I don't know if I would have purchased it, but in my case it would have paid off. I had a few relatively minor issues that warranty covered during the first two years that would have cost me a little over a thousand dollars, but in my 4th year the Norcold died. That made the extended warranty good for me.

I don't think it will be any cheaper in two years and depending on what company your dealer uses you may get better coverage since you could be in an area without a JAYCO dealer nearby.

Or find a dealer with the lifetime warranty. That's what we did. Bill Plemmons of NC has 2 dealerships. Home of the Lifetime warranty. We just have to visit the dealer once a yr for a check up and the normal things like cleaning the furnace and HWH etc. Congrats on your new camper.
