Long Overhang Be Careful

I learned the hard way about the long overhang on the rear of my 2016 Greyhawk 31DS. I was in a fuel stop and another vehicle pulled in front of me. I swung wide to the right to get around it and the rear of the coach hit a pole putting a long scratch in the left rear corner and messing up the corner trim piece. I found an RV repair shop nearby to get it repaired. He said that with the long overhang on coaches it's a common repair that he does. He said it was an easy repair, so I take it in next week.Click image for larger version

Man, sorry for the experience, but it sounds like you got lucky with just minor damage, not shattered fiberglass!!

Look on the bright side..the first scratch is always the worst so any more wont seem so bad. I hadn't had my new TT 3 months when the lawn mower thru a gravel into the side putting a large dent in it. I no it sucks but at least it is just cosmetic damage and can be easily repaired.
