Red face Low pressure lp grill

Hi,
Just brought home our new Greyhawk 29 MV. We thought we would use our Weber Gas grill but the tech told us we neede a low pressure model and that our Weber was likely high pressure if we wanted to use the outside quick connect.
Any suggestions or info to share before we buy a new grill set up?

Thanks

There are some threads on here about converting or removing the regulator on small portable grills if you want to go that route. I have a OEM grill that came with my 08 GH that I'm not using, works good with the QD on the GH, just don't like it.

I bought a Weber Q and then got a small 1 gal propane tank that fits in a storage compartment as I'm a big weber fan for their quality, etc.

There is a very good video on You Tube that shows how to do the conversion

Search you tube for the following

Low pressure lp grill

I just bought and converted a Weber Q1200 with a kit from propanegear.com. The kit below has everything to make the grill a quick connect setup. We used it two days ago and worked great with the factory camper propane hookup on the rear bumper.

Ok so I was having issues with my quick connect on the outside of my octane 222. Here are a couple of pics for the male end that connects to the outside source just in case you can't find the right fitting. Mine worked perfectly.

I converted a 2 burner gas grill and a 2 burner burner to the quick disconnect. No problems with pressure on either one.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.
