Maintenance Log app

There are so many things to check, service etc in the MH, along with our vehicles and BIG house that I am having angst about making sure all is kept up in the MH. I have read about some apps for keeping track of maintenance and wondering what/how you are doing it? I would like something that gives me reminders about what it due..when its due. I appreciate your input about recent apps.

I am relatively computer-savvy, but prefer a small notebook and hand-written entries. Staple a copy of the maintenance schedule to the inside front cover of the notebook. I have one in every vehicle, keep the trailer notebook in the TV, check every month.

Sometimes apps can be a big problem if your phone isn't backed--up, you can drop or lose your phone much easier than a paper notebook!

MaintainMyRV.com or RVNotepad.com

I use an extensive OneNote notebook that I can access from all my devices.
I keep everything about the tow vehicle and the rv there.

I use an app called aCar by Fuelly for all my vehicle maintenance. It tracks fuel purchases as well as all routine maintenance and repairs. It is very customizeable but I have not yet tried it for my Trailer. I still keep a notebook too just because as Motorbreath said you never know with electronics...

I'm a professional nerd, full time IT guy.
I use a 3" binder that has all the manuals and I have hand-written logs sheets.

Been using this for years for my vehicles and my fifth wheel. I use it to track trip millage in the camper and maintenance and costs. I have reminders set for time or millage related things. Battery water check reminder is set for monthly, bearing work for yearly, etc.

Any maintenance performed, our mods added are included shown what was done, when and how much it cost. It sets a notification on my phone when a reminder comes due. It also can be backed up.

I like it and it's worked well for me.

I found no need for all the excess "bells and whistles" from an app like aCar, not mention the confusion and all the added information you need to enter. I used MS Excel to build a spreadsheet. For those that are not very experienced with Excel, there is a host of info on the web for using the formula features, to count down days and miles to the next maintenance inspection interval. All the required inspection and maintenance info and parameters are in the Ford chassis manual and the Jayco Manual.

I am a big Excel fan as well but I was able to customize aCar and eliminate all the extra entries I didn't need...
