Red face Melbourn 29d fresh water pump problems

Help I cant get any pressure from my fresh water pump. I replaced it and cleaned screen but it seems to run backwards and build up air pressure in lines. Where can I get piping plans and clues to how to get water flowing again. I ran it dry camping in a walmart .

I am no expert and I am not entirely familiar with the piping plans. Have you tried running water through the lines using the city fill setting and a water hose? Another trick might be using the country fill side and siphoning some water out of a gallon pitcher. Remember to open up a tap in your coach to relieve the air pressure. Then try going back to the "Normal" setting to see if that may prime the pump.

I assume you have water in tank, no valves shut off and pump hooked up with correct water directional flow. If yes, the lines would be full of air, and each would need to be bled. Turn on each outlet and let out. It only takes a little air, and the pump will not prime. I also pop my pressure relief valve on w/h. Remember the outside shower, if you have one.

Did you have water prior? Water in tank now? Valve between pump and f/w tank open? Remember, it will take the pump several mins to prime and fill all lines (if the air has been bled)It will also fill the w/h(if drained). If the pump got water from your water jug, then its working. All it needs is open lines(no leaks), and a water supply.
