Mud flaps along the rear of the Class C motorhome

Does anyone have experience in the use of mud flaps across the back side of a class C motorhome for the protection of the TOAD...???

Do they work in protection the TOAD from rocks and stuff .....???

I installed the Rock Solid tow guard across the back of my 2014 Greyhawk 31DS. I'm sure it stops some road gravel from reaching the toad. But on our summer long trip to Alaska last year when we drove on dirt and gravel roads there would always be piles of gravel on the toad windshield afterwards. Surprising, there was no windshield or paint damage on the toad.

How does the guard attach since there is no fear bumper on the Greyhawk or Melbourne Class C.

My 2014 Greyhawk 31DS has a rectangular metal bumper. The Rock Solid tow guard bolts to the underside of the bumper. There are two sections of the flaps with a space between them for the tow hitch. After 3 years my toad is showing some pepper rash on the front bumper. But it's an old car and I don't mind a little paint damage. I would not tow a really nice car without additional protection.

By mid June '16 after much research we ended up purchasing the Blue Ox KarGard II Deflector.

We used it on our 6000+ miles trip in Mid June through mid August '16.We feel that it served us "very well". It did allow dirt and dust (serious dirty mist during rain) onto the TOAD, but that is to be expected. However, no rock chips on the front of the TOAD (that's important).
