Need recomendation!

Just found out last week that my brand new Jayco 31 FS was broken into in OCT. The bunkhouse seamless window was sprung from its harware and is hanging open. What kind of tape can I use that will not damage decals or the exterior gel coat?

I would use that blue or green painter's tape. It's like masking tape. It'll hold for a bit but I wouldn't rely on it for more than a few days. Not sure about its waterproof characteristics either, if any.

Thanks for the quick replies! Since Camper World could not even look at it till mid JAN, I thought I was going to leave it with tape and plastic over the window. My insurance company recommended another repair shop and I took it there today. I kept the window from flapping with the painters tape and removed it upon arrival.
After talking to my adjustor, it seems like these storage lot break ins are pretty common. This is my second motorhome over seven years at the same lot and first break in. Does anyone use alarm systems in their motorhome? Or is it an over priced noneffective consideration?
