New Greyhawk 31FS Day1 Checklist???

Hi, we just upgraded from a travel trailer to a Greyhawk 31FS. We're looking for a good Day 1 Checklist...something that tells us what to do when we arrive at a campground, so we do everything in the right order for set-up. Anyone have a list?

Hi! Congratulations on the new Greyhawk and welcome to the JOF.

Since you owned a TT before the MH, you probably have a good handle on what needs to be done. My guess is that you are asking about Greyhawk specific set up steps. Correct?

Thanks! Yes, we know the basics but the travel trailer really only needed to be connected to shore power. The Class C, with the various batteries, generator, tankless water heater has a lot of uncharted territory for us! So Greyhawk-specific tips are really helpful, but Class C set up in general is also very welcome and most appreciated!!!

Thanks so much for the list! So if we are connecting to shore power, does that mean we don't need to do anything with the generator at the campsite? We would only use that if we wanted to have power while driving? (We go to full hookup sites when camping).

Yep, genny is for boondocking or for having power while underway. Keep in mind that Onan recommends you run the genny at 50% load for 2 hours minimum EACH month ...

To be honest I would have saved the weight and $$ by not having a genny, but that's just me.
