New Theater seating

Put in a new set of Clay Madison RV Wall Hugger Theater Seats today. Looked for a long time and settled on these. Found them in an old listing on E-bay and called to see if they had anymore. They had some in Espresso brown which was better than the the black one we had seen on their E-bay site. The company is out of Fort Wayne, IN.

championproductsllc on eBay

@ $845 with shipping.

I forgot to take a pic of the old couch/bed that was very uncomfortable.
Here's a couple of pics of the new setup.

I am going to attach the old sidepiece as the old bolts show. I also ran some 120 volt from the storage area where you would use a TV outside to behind the couch. It has heated seats and led lighting, neither of which will be used much, but they are there so might as well hook them up.

With both chairs the width is 60", same as the old one. The dimensions are 60" W x 37" D x 40" H. Fits right in to where the old one was. Might be a little deeper, but not enough to worry about.

Super nice! Did you bolt it down or is it heavy enough not to move? Really like it.

There are 2 1/4" holes on the front and rear metal bars, they are @ 3/8" off the floor. I put a piece of plywood in the gap and used 1/4" x 1.25" lag bolts to bolt it down. 8 in all. It might stay in place unbolted, but once you get it positioned I didn't want it moving.

We take short trips, one week or less now, but before retiring and taking longer trips I want to swap out our sofa. That looks great. Thanks for posting. I'm saving this thread link.

Would this be too heavy to put in Whitehawk slide Out? Have room but unsure about weight. Shipping weight was listed at 380.

I didn't check the weight, but I would say it's about the same as the couch/bed it replaced.

I have a 2012 31DS, and want the same thing. Was there any problem getting them into the unit?

Wow, really nice!

Can you get them without the heater/led?

Convincing DW to drop coin on this project might be easier with results like that!

This mod has moved to the top of my list. I hate the jackknife loveseat that's in there now. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, I was just hoping to save a few bucks on something I'll never use. Well, maybe the LEDs, but the heaters would be a waste of money for me...

Good news is that I asked DW if she would entertain the change-out at that price, and she didn't say "no" right away. She said it's a mod she might be willing to entertain when the funds become available!
