Congratulations on your first RV. There will be lots of new systems to learn and it will seem complicated and overwhelming at first.
One word of advice is to make yourself a checklist and develop good habits at the very beginning. Simple things like forgetting to take down the tv antenna, put up the steps, retracting the awning (yes it happens) before leaving can cause damage that is preventable. I find it best not to chat with my neighbors and to stay focused on what I'm doing and always do a walk-around before leaving.
Also, like I mentioned before, you WILL have some defects. It is just part of the ownership experience. Some of these you will find easily and others will show up at the least opportune moment. Keep a running list of these things as you find them. Work with your dealer to resolve them to your satisfaction.
Most of all enjoy your new RV and have fun. It's exciting to get a new RV.

Excellent! Glad the camping part is going well.
Regarding the handling: Two things that virtually every unit like yours needs 1) The tires inflated to the maximum shown on the sidewalls (fronts can be ~5 to 10 psi below that, but start at the max and let some air out after test driving) and 2) A good front end alignment.
If you read through the posts of folks with a class C with handling issues, the problem is often corrected by addressing either the tire inflation or alignment or both.

Start by bringing the front tire pressure down from 75 to 70. If that doesn't do it, then have the alignment done... Jayco will reimburse you for it, just send them a copy of the receipt.

Mine must be reversed, tried that one first, even had site Manager check for signal from their end.....then just out of curiosity went around to other side (passenger) and tried the one designated for Outside TV (option) not on my unit and that worked? Reminder have to turnoff electrical plug for Antenna on wall hook-up for TV. Thanks for the response!

Our new coach had an awful steering behavior, I was so disappointed. That is until we had the front end aligned. The coach now handles "so much better".
Wishing you a great experience.

[QUOTE=CapeCodFlyer;402776]Glad you liked the Redhawk. Like I said before, the addition of the sofa just makes it so much more attractive over the 23XD. I negotiated the addition of the slide covers as part of the sale (also a spare tire and mount) and I'm very happy that I did. I wish I had also included the thermostat-operated fan in the vents but that's a potential future mod project.]
We are picking up our 2019 Greyhawk today. We were surprised to see they don't come with a spare tire! Saw your post and wondering where you mounted your spare. We'll be towing a Jeep Wrangler, so we're interested in any possibilities that would not interfere with the tow set up. Thanks in advance!
