Newbie Here - 2008 Melbourne 26A

We recently purchased a 2008 Melbourne 26A. Been camping with a truck camper for 30 years and finally upgraded to a motorhome. Lots to learn with a motorhome. Can anyone tell me where the inverter and the fuse box/breaker box is located? I have looked everywhere. Also, has anyone used one of those kits to fix a broken string on the day-night shades? Would it be better to have that done?

Hey Guys! Welcome to the fourm! Glad you found us. Cant help you on the fuse boxes, etc - but hopefully one of our members can. We have a few Melborune owners floating around here. Feel free to post some of your questions like the shades in the general RV forum as well since we have fewer visitors in the Motorhome section and you will get a little more visibility.

Thanks! Terry

I don't have a Melbourne but I have a Greyhawk. Did you look under the bed, that is where my inverter is and my breaker box is actually mounted in the bed frame accessible from the front. It is a black panel, push it and it opens and has the circuit breakers and all the fuses. Not sure if that will help you out or not.
